The DRR Summer School will be held at Headington Hill Hall. Built in 1824, it currently houses the Oxford Brookes School of Law.

We have reserved the Music Room and the Green Room, enabling insightful and intimate plenary discussions as well team work.

Where to stay

As a world-leading university city, Oxford offers a wide array of accomodation options — on-campus or off-campus.

On campus

The Clive Booth Postgraduate Centre is located a 10-minute walk from the Gipsy Lane Campus. Rooms are self-catered ensuite, situated in shared flats of 4-6 bedrooms. Cooking utensils are provided for guests, as well as linens, towels, and access to communal areas and launderette. Free wi-fi is available in all rooms, and the Postgraduate Centre has direct access to Oxford City Centre. 

Please note that postgraduate students are in residence, as well as international language schools, therefore at times a lively atmosphere is to be expected. Rooms are bookable at a rate of £70 (incl VAT) per night with the following conditions applicable.

  • a minimum of 2 nights per booking is required

  • a minimum booking age of 18, one resident per room

Frequently asked questions

  • Bookings for the DRR Summer School close at 11.30pm (GMT) on June 21, 2023. However, seats are limited to 40 and may sell out sooner - so be quick!

  • Yes, but the minimum number was reached on April 30th. The Summer School will go ahead. A few remaining seats are still available - so invite your friends and colleagues to come along!

  • Yes. Payment for school fees is due upon registration.

  • In case the DRR Summer School is cancelled, all registered participants will receive a 100% refund.

    In case you need to cancel your booking, the following will apply: a 75% refund will be issued if the cancellation is made up to 60 days before the start date of the DRR Summer School. A 50% refund will be issued if the cancellation is made up to 30 days before the start date of the DRR Summer School. No refund will be provided in case of cancellations made 30 days or less before the start date of the DRR Summer School.
